It is simply satisfying to see the result of my work with the SmartCare system when the car is sparkling clean and well maintained.
Ahmet and Eveline Kartal have long been known for their business acumen and ability to constantly develop new ideas. The idea of running a petrol station with a car wash and vacuum bays arose from their many years of experience and their instinct for successful business models.
Ahmet Kartal: This idea started when my wife took over a petrol station with a car wash after she lost her managerial position at a logistics company. As the car wash business was successful, we decided to look for a new location to develop.
The search for a suitable location finally led us to Tuningen, at the B 523 and just a few metres from the A 81 motorway exit. There we began to plan the construction of a new petrol station with a shop and bakery. We decided to include a car wash as an important component.
Ahmet Kartal: The reasons for purchasing the new WashTec system were diverse. The old system was outdated and no longer met the current standards. Aspects such as sustainability, innovation, technology and design all played a decisive role in our decision. Especially in times of scarce resources, it was important for us to choose WashTec’s washing technology. AUWA’s washing chemistry is based on renewable raw materials and is ecologically friendly. The innovative water recovery system makes it possible to save up to 90% fresh water per wash cycle. The new system also helps to reduce CO2 emissions.
Ahmet Kartal: We are extremely satisfied with this concept. The all-round service enables us to save time, as we have short distances and fixed contacts, as well as an easily accessible service hotline to quickly resolve any problems that come up.

By reducing freshwater consumption per wash cycle by up to 90%, WashTec’s water recovery system helps to optimise water consumption and reduce environmental impact.
Ahmet Kartal: Due to their outstanding features and properties: The products impress with their sustainable production and easy biodegradability, which helps to conserve resources. The fact that the products are manufactured without harmful substances or microplastics is also particularly important to us, which is of great importance for both the environment and health. In addition, the products are characterised by their economical consumption, which leads to efficient use. Overall, AUWA’s products fit perfectly with our requirements and values in terms of sustainability and environmental protection.

Ahmet Kartal: In recent years, we have noticed a significant change in the cleaning behaviour of our customers. In the past, the focus was mainly on the price and the result of the cleaning process. Nowadays, however, there is an increased awareness of environmental protection and sustainability. Our customers now attach more importance to the overall package, including the environmental compatibility of the products and processes. They are prepared to invest a little more money for cleaning that not only delivers a good result, but also protects the environment and supports sustainable practices. This development reflects a growing awareness of environmental issues and an increased commitment to sustainable behaviour.
Ahmet Kartal: The feeling of a sparkling clean vehicle: It is simply satisfying to see the result of my work or the SmartCare system when the car is sparkling clean and well maintained. It’s not just a visual pleasure, but also a feeling of freshness and tidiness that I personally really enjoy.
It gives me a certain satisfaction and pride when our system has successfully cleaned a vehicle and we can present it to the customer in the best possible condition.
Ahmet Kartal: We are looking forward to further expanding our business and are currently in the planning stages for future projects and developments. A key focus is on investing in alternative energy to make our current site more sustainable. This may include the integration of solar energy, wind energy or other renewable energy sources at the plant to reduce our energy consumption and minimise our environmental footprint. We are committed to doing our part to protect the environment and continuously improve our business practices while continuing to provide high quality services to our customers.
